The Municipality of Coruche, leading entity of EEC PROVERE “Montado de Sobro e Cortiça”, promotes tomorrow, the 29th, at 17h00, live via Zoom the webinar “Biodiversity of Montado de Sobro – how to monitor and maintain”.

The webinar “Biodiversity of Montado de Sobro – how to monitor and maintain” aims to foster synergies between the various public and private agents, paying special attention to the challenges that are ahead. This webinar features the interventions of Joana Faria from FSC Portugal – Association for Responsible Forest Management, Alice Nunes from the Center for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, and Nuno Gaspar de Oliveira from NBI – Natural Business Intelligence, moderated by Carlos Godinho of MED – Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development.

The webinar “Biodiversity of Montado de Sobro – how to monitor and maintain it” is part of the 12th edition of FICOR – International Cork Fair, which this year, for the first time, takes place in the digital space. Under the vision “Montado de Sobro e Cortiça, a sustainable and inimitable national heritage, a territory with unique resources capable of leveraging economic and social dynamics of innovation and competitiveness”, FICOR – International Cork Fair reflects the bet on raising awareness for preservation of the montados, and in the promotion of measures to protect them.
