It should be noted that on June 12, the first PROVERE Partnership Meeting, entitled “Cork Oak and Cork Forest | A collective heritage to be valued,” was held at the Sobrei ro and Cork Observatory in Coruche. This meeting was attended by several partners who have been working hard to build and develop the PROVERE Montado de Sobro e Cortiça Collective Efficiency Strategy (EEC), thereby boosting regional development, promoting the territory, valuing scientific knowledge, the preservation and sustainable use of this endogenous resource, the qualification of the economic fabric, entrepreneurship, and internationalization. In this new cycle that has begun, the approved Action Plan includes 20 projects, representing an investment of over 16 million euros.
