Abertas as candidaturas ao Concurso “Árvore do Ano Portugal 2026”

Applications are now open for the “Tree of the Year Portugal 2026” contest!

This initiative, promoted by UNAC — União da Floresta Mediterrânica, as part of the European Tree of the Year competition, celebrates trees with remarkable stories and strengthens the connection between nature, people, and communities.The winning tree will represent Portugal in the European competition, where the public votes to choose the European Tree of the Year.

Since 2011, the contest has highlighted the natural and cultural value of trees, raising awareness of their preservation.
