We marked the fourth anniversary of the inscription of Cork Harvesting as Intangible Cultural Heritage with the seminar “Empowering to safeguard – Montado de Sobro e Cortiça: a collective heritage to be valued.”
Throughout the morning, dozens of participants gathered at the Cork Oak and Cork Observatory for moments of sharing, reflection, and training, focused on the sustainability of the Montado and the enhancement of the know-how that distinguishes the territory.
The meeting featured presentations by various entities and ended with a symbolic moment of cork oak tree sponsorship, reinforcing the collective commitment to preserving this heritage.
We continue to value what makes the Montado unique.
