8th EDITION IDEAS AND CREATIVITY CONTEST

The Montado continues to be fertile ground for creativity!

This year, participants in the Ideas and Creativity Contest once again presented new ways of playing and dressing, using cork as their raw material.

These are toys and costumes that embody imagination, many hours of work, and the goal not only of winning the 8th edition of this contest, but also of reinforcing the versatility of this rich material.

The fashion pieces created by Magestil students were presented at Coruche Fashion Cork 2025, with Júlia Lima and Caetana Sousa emerging as the big winners.

This talented and creative duo took first place with an irreverent proposal that impressed the jury and the public.

Congratulations also to Matilde Gonçalves and Maria Oliveira for second place, Thaís Santos and Sara Pires for third place, and all the other participants who contributed so much to this edition.

In the Cork Design and New Products category, it was the students from the Faculty of Architecture in Lisbon who let their imaginations run wild.

The projects were presented at the Cork Oak and Cork Observatory, and the winner was Mariana Pinto, followed by David Valentim and Bruna Carranco, who came in second and third place, respectively.

We leave you with a summary of this 8th edition in the video below.
