Under the responsibility of the Municipality of Coruche (Lead Entity), the “Coordination and Management Structure” (CMS) is an anchor project of PROVERE and aims to operationalize the Technical Team and the partnership’s activity plan.
The CMS includes a diversified activity plan focused on achieving objectives and maximizing results, encompassing:
- the implementation of network coordination and animation activities aimed at the effective execution of the EEC and the Action Plan (including communication/marketing actions, events, and activation of the governance model);
- close collaboration with the business fabric of the territory, aiming to strengthen and affirm the “Cork Oak Forest and Cork” brand, alongside the valorization of this endogenous resource;
- the technical capacity building of local stakeholders, through knowledge-sharing sessions and dissemination of best practices among Consortium entities and the community;
- the stimulation of creativity and entrepreneurship and their connection to the local business fabric, in order to diversify and strengthen the economic base associated with the Cork Oak Forest and Cork, counteract human desertification in low-density areas, and promote the settlement of young active-age populations.
Governance Model
The Governance Model ensures the participation of local entities and their continuous engagement and mobilization, fostering a context of dialogue and cooperation among public and private actors and, whenever possible, local communities. It promotes synergy building, inter-institutional cooperation, and the valorization of the endogenous resource — the Cork Oak Forest and Cork — thereby contributing to the competitiveness and attractiveness of the territory.
The governance model includes:
Consortium Leader, corresponding to the Municipality of Coruche.
Technical Team of the Coordination and Management Structure, under the responsibility of the Consortium Leader. This team is responsible for coordinating and implementing the activities of animation and promotion of the endogenous resource, as well as for monitoring and evaluating the Action Plan in all its dimensions.
Management Council, composed of all partners with investment projects integrated into the PROVERE Action Plan.
Strategic Guidance and Monitoring Council, composed of all partners and chaired by the Consortium Leader, who may invite external entities to attend meetings whenever their presence is relevant and in the interest of the Partnership.
